The London Marathon

Mel Phillips is a manager within our Business Services Department, and has been with Lewis Brownlee for almost ten years since graduating from university.

Her brother Nick is running the London Marathon on 26th April 2015 and is taking this opportunity to raise some money for a small charity local to where they grew up. Give 4 B.E.T.H. is a registered charity that was set up 3 years ago with the ambition of giving belief, encouragement, time and happiness to help others fulfil their life-changing dreams. The charity has always been about helping local disabled children and their families to reach their dreams and goals. Nick is running alongside its founder, Richard Sherwell

Give 4 B.E.T.H. provides support to disabled children and their families, through financial assistance and donations, to help them achieve life-changing dreams. From life-altering operations to specialist equipment and home improvements, Give 4 B.E.T.H. as a charity wants to help change lives.

Nick has been in training for the marathon for the past 6 weeks, including over Christmas and in the snow! His target time to complete the event is around 3 hours and 45 minutes, for now at least…

If you would like to find out more about the charity or would like to donate then you can visit their website: or Nick’s Just Giving page:

Lewis Brownlee is supporting Nick by sponsoring his running kit, and wishes both him and Give 4 B.E.T.H the best of luck for the event.
