Megan joined the Lewis Brownlee team in 2024 with a strong reputation for supporting charities across the South. With nearly a decade of experience, she brings deep sector knowledge and a calm, practical approach to independent examinations, compliance, and financial reporting.
Megan manages a large and varied portfolio of charitable clients, providing guidance on everything from governance and SORP requirements to day-to-day financial clarity. She is passionate about helping charities stay compliant, confident, and focused on their mission.
While her primary focus is the not-for-profit sector, Megan also works with a select number of smaller owner-managed businesses.
Freddie Hares
Audit and Accounts Trainee
Freddie is part of the Accounts & Audit team at Lewis Brownlee and is developing a strong specialism in supporting churches and charities through independent examinations and audit.
He brings a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in understanding the mission and day-to-day operations of the charitable organisations he works with. His experience includes Independent Examinations, statutory and non-statutory audits, and the preparation of Limited Company Accounts under FRS102 and FRS105.
Freddie particularly enjoys working with trustees and finance teams to ensure compliance, build confidence, and provide clarity around financial reporting in the not-for-profit space.
